Big-hitting Australian batsman, Chris Lynn, found himself in middle of some intense bidding at the IPL auctions on Saturday. In the end, he was, however, snapped up by his previous team--Kolkata Knight Riders--for a whopping Rs 9.6 crore.
The swashbuckling Australian has the ability to change the course of a game by his immaculate and hard-hitting strokeplay. While being part of the Kolkata Knight Riders last year he had scored a total of 295 runs consisting of three fifties at a healthy average of 49.16.
But then, it needs to be seen how fit he remains before the IPL.
In the ongoing edition of the Big Bash League, Lynn became the first player to smash 100 sixes in the competition. The 27-year-old's strike-rate of 158.17 is the best for any player who has played over 40 matches in the BBL.
