His efforts ensured Gujarat Lions restricted its opponent to a paltry 124 for 8 in its 20 overs.

After losing early wickets, Lions' captain Suresh Raina scored a half-century and featured in a useful partnership of 59 with Aaron Finch. It ensured a comprehensive victory for Lions, which moved up to the second place in the points table.
