With 10 runs needed off the last two balls, Jadeja hit a six down the ground off the penultimate ball of the match before flicking a loose delivery down leg-side to the fine-leg boundary.

All for Thala: An elated MS Dhoni lifts Ravindra Jadeja after the latter’s heroics have Chennai Super Kings a record-equalling fifth IPL title. Jadeja dedicated the win to Dhoni after the match and hailed the talismanic skipper as a special member of CSK.
