Ashutosh lofts one straight to long off, Samad drops this and it goes over the boundary for six. A double to deep midwicket leaves the equation at 13 off 3. Another double to the legside. 11 needed off 2. 

Wide ball again. 10 off 2. Dropped again!! Ashutosh goes big on the leg side, hits it straight to deep mid wicket where its dropped again. Six!! Shashank lofts one down the ground to finish off on a high but SRH sneaks over the line by 2 runs.

Natarajan into the attack. Yorker length outside off, Shashank gets a single. Four!! Full again, Ashutosh plays a slog sweep over midwicket for a boundary. A perfect yorker to follow and just a single off the next ball. Four!! Natarajan aims for the blockhole, Shashank moves across and laps it behind for a boundary. Ten off the over.

Cummins into the attack. Four!! Slightly short, slapped through the offside for a boundary. Four!! Short again, lofted above short third for another boundary. 11 runs off the over.

Bhuvneshwar into the attack. Four!! Shashank slashes hard and the outside edge runs away for a boundary. Four!! Through the covers this time. Two boundaries off the first two overs. Four!! Third boundary off the over, short outside off, slapped through cover.

Nitish with his third. Dropped!! Jitesh gets a top edge of the pull shot but Natarajan makes a mess out of the catch. Six!! Length ball deposited over long off for a six. WICKET!! Jitesh holes out to deep square after mistiming his lofted shot.

Shahbaz into the attack. Six!! Slightly short, Raza goes on one leg and pulls one over the legside for six! Ten runs from the over. 

Unadkat returns. Six!! Short a length slower ball, Raza picks it up and lofts it over midwicket for six. Slower one foxes Shashank, his pick up shot falls in front of deep fine. 

Natarajan returns. WICKET!! Curran looks to loft one down the ground, Cummins takes a blinder moving backwards from mid off.

Nitish continues. Full outside off stump, driven to deep cover. Six!! Short and wide, Curran slashes it through third man for six. Third man was inside the circle. Not the best ball to bowl in that situation. Nine from the over. 

Unadkat into the attack. Six!! Curran welcomes him with a six. Back of a length, Curran pulled it over midwicket. A misfield at short midwicket hands Raza a single. Nine runs from the over. 

Nitish into the attack. Four!! Short of a length, Curran pulls it through midwicket for a boundary. Edged and four! Raza edges one through third man and it runs away for four. Four!! Over covers this time, same result. Good over for PBKS.

Natarajan into the attack. Four!! Back of a length on the stumps, Curran gets it past mid on and to the boundary for four. In the air....just evades mid on. Was a short ball and Curran mistimed the flat batted shot. Seven runs from the over.

Bhuvneshwar with his third over. DROPPED and four! The fly slip was in perfect position but Samad lets it through his fingers and the ball runs away for a boundary. WICKET!! Dhawan walks down the track with Klaasen standing up to the stumps, misses his shot and Klaasen does the rest.

Sam Curran in at 4. Cummins to continue. Wide outside off stump, Curran cuts hard but finds third man. Just the three runs from the over. 

Bhuvneshwar to continue. Four!! Slightly wide, Dhawan moves legside and smashes it through point for a boundary. On the stumps, guided to deep fine leg. Prabhsimran looks to pull shortish delivery, mistimes it and it rolls to mid off. Four!! Much better timing this time, flies over the infeld for a boundary. WICKET!! Full on offstump, goes straight up as Prabhsimran gets a leading edge. Nitish Reddy completes the catch.

Cummins from the other end. WICKET!! Bairstow looks to pull a ball that was not that short. Sees the stumps light up behind him. Early jolt for Punjab.

Bhuvneshwar with the new ball in his hand. Shikhar and Bairstow out to open. Stifled appeal for LBW against Dhawan, was probably going down leg. Another one down leg, Dhawan manages to sneak a leg bye in. Considerable swing on the last ball as it beats Bairstow on his outside edge. 

Despite a slow start from the Sunrisers, with Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Aiden Markram failing to contribute significantly, posting a total of 182 runs on the board should provide the bowlers with an opportunity to defend the total.

Shahbaz Ahmed finally finds a boundary and frees his arms to give some momentum to the Sunrisers. Shahbaz then smashes Arshdeep for a maximum—a glorious shot over the extra cover region. 

Kagiso Rabada picks his first wicket as Pat Cummins departs. Another good over, and just four runs come from the over. 

The fifty-run partnership is up between Adbudl Samad and Nithish Reddy in just 18 deliveries. The 150 is up, but Arshdeep breaks the partnership as Samad is caught at the backward point. Nitish falls as he walks back after playing a brilliant innings. 

Nitish Reddy, with quick hands and using the large boundaries, through the square of the wicket, has been a sensation after the 22-run over from Brar. 

Nitish Reddy, what a magnificent performance! He reaches a brilliant fifty off just 32 balls, showcasing his skill with a reverse sweep as the standout shot. This milestone marks his maiden IPL half-century, celebrated with a powerful six followed by a boundary, and then another outstanding six over long-off. Truly a stellar display of batting prowess!

Harshal Patel strikes, and he picks up the big wicket of Klaasen, who straight down the throar of Sam Curran at long-off. Abdul Samad smashes hard and gets a boundary over the backward point region, and then, with a neat flick, gets back to back boundaries. 

Sam Curran gets the punishment as Nitish hammers him over the deep backward square leg for a maximum. The 100 is up for the Sunrisers, but Punjab have the game in control.

Nitish Reddy is playing a superb innings, showcasing his prowess by smashing Rabada over the deep for a maximum. He is significantly contributing to the Sunrisers’ innings with a strike rate exceeding 150!

Nitish Reddy cracks the code with a couple of boundaries - a beautiful shot behind point and then a six over the backward square leg. The yiungster then finishes the over with a boundary over long-on. 

Harshal Patel is back into the attack, and he gets Rahul who was struggling to find the boundary. A caught behind appeal that went in Punab’s favour.

This is brilliant from Punjab, as the lengths have been good and the boundaries have dried up. The choke is on, and Punjab is being smart with stump-to-stump bowling. Just five runs came from Brar’s over. 

The fifty is up for Sunrisers as Nitish Reddy goves over the mid-wicket and Rahul Thipathi has found his groove. This will be a crucial period for the Sunrisers. 

First signs of spin as Harpreet Brar comes into the attack and Rahul Tripathi manufactures a brilliant shot by rocking back and smashing through the point region. A tidy over from Brar. 

Harshal Patel comes into the attack, and the squeeze is on by Punjab. Rahul Tripathi walks in and this is the worst PowerPlay by the Sunrisers this season. The umpiring has been terrible!

Sam Curran takes charge of the attack, and Punjab adopts an aggressive approach. Despite Curran’s tight lines, Abhishek maintains his attacking stance and dispatches him for a boundary over the covers. Abhishek then follows up with another boundary through the mid-on region. However, his bold approach ultimately led to his dismissal, leaving the Sunrisers three wickets down.

Arshdeep Singh strikes twice, dismissing Travis Head and then Aiden Markram for a duck. Head mistimed a shot and lost his shape, resulting in a superb catch by Dhawan. Arshdeep then angled one across to induce an outside edge from Markram. Punjab is on a roll with quick wickets.

Right then, the runs are flowing, with Travis Head smashing Rabada for three boundaries, with the smash to long-on being the pick of the shot. It’s a brilliant start, and the Sunrisers will look to ace the PowerPlay. 

Arshdeep Singh begins his spell, and the Sunrisers have commenced their innings cautiously. The synchronisation between bat and ball appears to be lacking at the moment. The aggressive hitting may come into play as the innings progresses. Abhishek fetches a boundary through the point. 

Travid Head and Abhishek Sharma open the innings for the Sunrisers, and Head gets off the mark with a wild shot to the third man. Kagiso Rabada starts with the new ball.
