A Twitter user, on Saturday, tweeted: “I like jemimah. Very cute. Are you seeing anyone ? @JemiRodrigues.”

Known for her dry humour, the batswoman promptly quoted the tweet saying, “After this match? I'm definitely seeing a bright future for Women's Cricket! #WIPL #womenscricket #ipl #WomensT20Challenge”

Earlier the Supernovas came up with her version of  Chahal TV  which she called  Jemi’s Bouncers.

In one of the videos, she could be seen sharing a light moment with Trailblazers skipper and India teammate Smriti Mandhana, while introducing her.

She said, “Today we have with us the sweetheart of the nation, an amazing timer of the ball, and a very friendly and humble human being. Okay apart from me, we have Smriti Madhana.”

Rodrigues starred in Supernovas first meeting with Velocity on Thursday, when she hammered an unbeaten 77 off 48 balls. She finished the tournament with 123 runs from three matches.

She also scored a 25-ball 22 on Saturday, when a fine knock from skipper Harmanpreet Kaur helped Supernovas lift the trophy in the final against Mithali Raj’s Velocity.
