Having secured a berth in the play-offs, Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals are set to battle it out in the Eliminator at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday.
With the game being a home tie for KKR, it will have some advantages. Sunil Narine, once again, will be the go-to man for skipper Dinesh Karthik to provide a start with the bat, as well as claim crucial wickets. The off-spinner picked 16 wickets in 12 games at an average of 25.25.
But it won’t be that easy for Narine as the RR batsmen will attack from the onset. It will miss the services of the in-form Jos Buttler, but then, there are aggressive players like Sanju Samson. Having scored 391 runs in 14 games at an average of 30.07, he could pose a threat to Narine with his skilful batting.
