Though late, but Jos Buttler has sketched a silver lining for the struggling Rajasthan Royals in this season. A promotion in the batting line-up, as an opener, exposed his superpowers. The Englishman smashed three half-centuries — 67 (against Delhi Daredevils), 51 and 82 (both against Kings XI Punjab).
But a certain 36-year-old gentleman can steal Buttler’s thunder when the Royals welcome Chennai Super Kings at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Friday. Shane Watson, who scored a 57-ball 106 in the first-leg, will be a key player for the yellow army. The Australian all-rounder scored 328 runs at an average of 32.80. He also claimed six wickets.
