Former Argentina striker Hernan Crespo, who has played for European giants like AC Milan, Inter Milan and Chelsea, is in India, representing Kolkata 5s in the inaugural Premier Futsal league. Speaking to the media after his game, Crespo revealed what he thought about the Indian talent on show.

“It’s not easy for the Indian players; they are feeling a lot of pressure playing in front of big crowds. I hope they can deal with it. Yesterday, we saw an Indian (Mohammed Islam) scoring a goal, which I thought was beautiful,” Crespo said.

He added that the legends are here to promote futsal. But for a good future, the Indian players need to practise regularly even when such tournaments are not happening.

He also spoke on the domination of Juventus and why both the Milan clubs are struggling to challenge them.

“Juventus have a proper structure in place, fans have their say and you have a president but we don’t know who the president of AC and Inter Milan are? What do they do?” the 41-year-old striker asked.

Speaking on rumours of Diego Simeone managing the Argentine national team, Crespo praised the Atletico Madrid manager but felt the Argentina Football Association needs to deal with its own issues first and quickly appoint a president.
