Rising Student Club put on a dominant show against Indira Gandhi Academy for Sports and Education in a group stage match of the second edition of the Indian Women’s League at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong on Wednesday.
Rising Student Club maintained its grip throughout the match and braces from Pyari Xaxa, Anju Tamang and Sanju helped the club to an easy 6-1 win.
The Odisha-based club registered its first shot on goal in the first minute of the match to set the tone for the remainder of the match.
