Under the supervision of Sen, Chakraborty was in charge of the side during the season-opening Calcutta Football League.
Bagan acknowledged Sen's contribution for the club. “The club management would like to thank Sen for all the hard work he has done being in charge of the team for the past three years. We wish him all success in his future endeavours.
“He informed (the club) about his desire not to continue as the head-coach post-Mohun Bagan’s 2-1 defeat in yesterday’s I-League match against Chennai City FC.
