Sethu FC consolidated its lead at the top of Group II of the Indian Women's League (IWL) with a spectacular 9-0 win over SAI-STC Cuttack at the GHG Khalsa University Ground in Ludhiana on Friday.
Ratanbala Devi starred with a hat-trick and gave her side the ideal start with a goal in the fourth minute. Sandhiya doubled the score five minutes later, before Ratanbala struck again after the water break. Indumathi added a fourth on the stroke of half-time to hand Sethu a commanding 4-0 lead.

Dangmei Grace scored extended Sethu FC's lead in the 66th minute before Ratanbala's cross was diverted into the net by SAI keeper Subha Patra, leading to an own goal seven minutes later.
Sethu's Nepali sensation Sabitra Bhandari came on in the second half to score a seventh with less than 10 minutes of regulation time left on the clock to make it 7-0. Sandhiya scored her second on the 87th minute, before Ratanbala completed her hat-trick seconds before the end of regulation time.
- Manipur Police wins big -
Manipur Police continued its fine show and soared to a 6-1 win over Baroda Football Academy at the Guru Nanak Stadium. Bala Devi was on song again and scored four goals for her side.
Daya Devi found the opener in the seventh minute and was followed by a first-half Bala Devi hat-trick.

Baroda managed to bag a goal in between, when Mona soared up the left flank and sent in a cross. However, her cross was misplaced and ended up deceiving Manipur 'keeper Panthoi and she tipped it over the goal-line.
Manipur reduced the pace of its attacks in the second half, but managed to score further extend its lead as Bala and Parmeshowri Devi scored to post another massive win for Manipur Police.
Bangalore United draws with FC Kolhapur City
Bangalore United FC held FC Kolhapur City to a 1-1 draw in a rain-marred game.

Bangalore drew first blood when Paromita Sit bundled the ball over the line after a melee inside the Kolhapur six-yard box in the 47th minute.
Kolhapur drew level with 10 minutes left when Pratiksha Mithari was played through inside the area and she skipped past a defender to put it past the 'keeper.
Renu had a great chance to win it for Kolhapur in the dying embers of the game when she soared raced down the right flank and let one rip, but her shot brushed the outside of the upright and nestled into the side-netting.
