Three on the trot for U Mumba at Greater Noida tonight? Or will Haryana Steelers make it 2-0 this season at the arena?

This was Santadeep Dey bringing you all the action as it unfurled at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida.

Do tune in for tomorrow's double header at 07:30 PM sharp.

The first match would be played between U Mumba and Dabang Delhi, while in the second match UP Yoddha and Bengaluru Bulls would lock horns. Until then, goodbye and goodnight!

39-33 FULL TIME: And there's the win Atrachali was waiting for! U Mumba climbs to the fourth spot on the table and it will play UP Yoddha in the playoffs. And it has been a young Ajinkya Kapre (10 points) who has been the centre of attraction today.

Haryana Steelers, on the other hand, will meet Bengaluru Bulls. Will Pawan 'Hi Flyer' Sehrawat mind that? We don't think so.

38-33 Atrachali is loving this! Wish I could use emojis on the blog . This is funny. Haryana Steelers goes for a jersey pull and the star defender is in splits.

37-33 " Koi chakkar nahi hai bhau ," is what the mic picks up. Fazel Atrachali is calm. Are the others as well? Also, that's some serious Hindi lessons for the Irani Iron Man!

36-32 It is not over yet! Kandola has the biggest fish in the net. Yes, the Sultan it is. What makes it more beautiful is the fact that he uses his signature escape route. The LOBBIES!

34-31 Will Chang Ko go for Kandola? Will that be the mantra ? Moreover, the bonus line too is in the same zone.

No. Empty raid.

32-28 A bonus and Surinder Singh makes it two! Vinay clinches a Super 10 : As he steals the bonus from right under the nose of Chang Ko, Surinder thinks of neutralising the move. He rushes in unassisted and in the end those were easy pickings for Haryana.

MILESTONE ALERT: Additionally, Vinay has bagged 25 bonus points this season.

32-26 A couple of brilliant moves from Kapre and an 'All Out' courtesy Atrachali and here we are... After a tight first half, Steelers are in shambles here. A six-point lead!

'Where was Kapre all this while?' asks the commentator. I had the same question.

22-22 Kapre! Kapre! Kapre! What a time for U Mumba to unveil this weapon. Two points again. Uses brute force to escape the right corner despite picking up an injury.

20-22 Kapre again! He has put in his name on the team sheet for the playoffs for sure now. Sunil and Naveen out.

Kapre tries once, tries a second time and that is when he makes it to the other side.

15-17 Surinder Singh and Young Chang Ko back to the bench as Naveen, who, at one point, looked to be going out of bounds without a touch, ends up bagging two points. Surinder and Chang Ko had to slam the brakes on the dash there.

MILESTONE ALERT: With those points, Naveen goes past 150 PKL raid points.

15-15 HALF TIME: Navneet OUT! He needed to spend a bit more time out there before going for the tag. He targets the right cover and is brought down by the right corner.  Hasty, one must say!

The highlight of this half has to be Fazel's five tackle points. With the scores level this half, we all can guess how tight the contest is going to be in the next.

14-12 A 'Do or Die' raid concludes as soon as it began. Vinay walks in. Quick observation; he looks to be a bit slower on the feet this evening tonight. Atrachali and Narwal tap into the opportunity and both block him from each side. No alternate routes there!

13-12 Ajinkya Kapre walks in to raid. 1 vs 5. Will he be able to bag more points? No. Doesn't take a risk. Empty raid.

9-6 Ajinkya Kapre! Sparks of brilliance on the mat! After bagging a point for his side first, he has now sent star raider Vikash Kandola back to the bench.

What a calculated move from the young raider! As Kandola looked to tag the left corner with a running hand touch, Kapre rushed in unnoticed from the right to throw the Haryana mainman out of the lobbies.

5-5 And with that SUPER TACKLE, Fazel Atrachali reaches the coveted milestone of 300 career tackle points. That brings the average to 50 tackle points per season. Makes it seem like a cakewalk, the Sultan!

3-2 Ajinkya Kapre falls victim to the chain now. Haryana Steelers defenders didn't have to do much over there.

2-0 Sandeep Narwal floors Vinay. Vinay was really ambitious enough to go after the two players in the centre of the chain. Was this a hasty decision?

1-0 Bonus Point: Young Chan Ko starts proceedings and takes the safety route.

TOSS: U Mumba to have the first raid.

Fazel Atrachali starts tonight's contest a point short of 300 career tackle points.

With both sides into the playoffs already, this match should be one to keep the confidence level high and the adrenaline running.

The previous encounter between the two sides this season ended with Haryana Steelers emerging triumphant.

Will fortune favour Steelers once again or will Mumba bag its third win on the trot?

Key battle to look out for: Udan Kandola vs The Iranian Iron Man

While we all wait for the contest to begin let me ask you all a quick question. Do you know what the silent assassin Kandola loves to hog on when no one is watching or keeping a tab on the calories?

No? We will tell you.

Interestingly, Atrachali has a Tamil song on his playlist. Which song? Find out!

The match will be live telecast on the Star Network and streamed on Hotstar.
