Head-to-head: Bengal Warriors 3 – 9 Patna Pirates. 3 Ties.

35-26 FULL TIME: After Pardeep gets another point, Bengal completes another win yet again to move to the second spot on the Pro Kabaddi League table. Patna, meanwhile, still languishes at the 12th spot. Not a happy place to be in.

The Chennai crowd loves it! Because this is another team in blue?

35-25 With fifty seconds left on the clock, Pardeep gets his fourth 'Super 10' of the season and Patna inflicts an 'All Out'. Where was this intent earlier? Too late now!

35-20 Prapanjan walks in for the 'Do or Die' and steals the bonus.

34-17 Jeeva Kumar walks now. Although Pardeep Narwal has been in fine form, claiming another toe touch now, Kabaddi, as we all know, is not a one-man game.

34-16 And the big man Prapanjan has bagged another raid point. No efforts put as Jaideep almost gifts the point to him, surging ahead sans support.

30-15 The combination of Baldev and Jeeva take out Pardeep Narwal, YET AGAIN! Take his legs out of the game and you have got him. A back hold followed by a frontal block had rendered him harmless.

28-15'All Out', again! In the blink of an eye! Ashish gets a bonus but Rinku Narwal gets his high five of that well-timed tackle.

21-14 That is brilliant from Jeeva Kumar! A frontal block by Kumar gets Maghsoudlou. What's better, Bengal has even refused to give a bonus to him!

19-14 The 'All Out' has been inflicted! Rinku Narwal gets rid of Neeraj Kumar.

16-14 Bengal Warriors have inflicted the most 'All Outs' this season (14) and Patna is down to just one man after Purna commits a blunder.

While we all wait for the second half to begin, here's a look at the promo of the second episode of Sportstar 's new series #KingsofKabaddi featuring the talismanic Desai brothers:

15-14 HALF-TIME:New man in! Purna Singh uses his height to his own advantage to throw himself on the midline as Baldev commits a naive error.

Pardeep Narwal has bagged five raid points already gaining able assistance from Maghsoudlou (3 points). Meanwhile, Bengal's raiding trio of Maninder, Sukesh Hegde and Prapanjan have also bagged 10 points for the side.

15-13 Maninder Singh has been gifted a point by Hadi Oshtorak. That ankle hold was never going to stop the flamboyant Bengal skipper.

13-13 K. Prapanjan gets the 'Super Tackle' specialist Monu out. Is that a sign of worry for Patna Pirates? Who will revive Narwal now?

11-11 An unsuccessful 'Do or Die' raid from Pardeep Narwal. Jeeva Kumar exploits Narwal's strong footwork to his own advantage. He goes low to fling him up into the air. Meanwhile, the other defenders chime in.

9-11 Sukesh Hegde gets a toe touch off Vikas Jaglan. He fumbles a bit after that but he is safe.

8-10 Jaideep snaps up Nabibakshsh. Caught him unaware from behind to nudge him out of the lobbies.

6-9 A double whammy! Mohammad Maghsoudlou has not only revived Narwal in no time, he has got Bengal's strike raider. Maninder OUT!

5-8 Baldev Singh has been phenomenal for Bengal this season. A well-timed dash finds a clueless Pardeep out of the lobbies.

3-6 What a move from Pardeep Narwal! He has got four raid points from four raids now. He bags a bonus, a running hand touch and now this. He nullifies Rinku Narwal's block by dragging him to the line. How many times have we seen this on the mat?

1-2 Maninder Singh gets Bengal's first point with a slender toe touch. Completely caught the right cover Neeraj Kumar off guard there.

Although the head-to-head record against Bengal Warriors presents a completely different picture, Patna Pirates, this year, didn't get the start it would have wanted to. Bengal Warriors, on the other hand, sits comfortably at the third spot on the league table and comes on the back of four wins on the trot. A win against the Patna franchise would further push the side up to the second place.

After K. Prapanjan score a 'Super 10' in Bengal's last fixture against Dabang Delhi, he has joined skipper Maninder Singh in shouldering the lead raider responsibilities. Moreover, Bengal has now become the only franchise to have more than one raider in the list of top ten raiders of the season thus far. Baldev Singh, Rinku Narwal and Jeeva Kumar have also been effective in the defending department.

Patna Pirates' Mohammad Maghsoudlou recently broke free and with the support from Pardeep Narwal, things have looked a little better for the side of late. Its defence is led by Jaideep, who sits joint-fourth in the list of the season’s best defenders with 26 tackle points to his name. However, Hadi Oshtorak and recently Ravinder, have provided him good support in defence as well. The team will want a win against Bengal Warriors to rise above the bottom position in the Season 7 rankings.
