Wrong tactics

Published : Jun 17, 2006 00:00 IST

It was shocking to note that India's coach Greg Chappell and skipper Rahul Dravid, who were keen to play five bowlers in Tests, suddenly reverted to the old tactics of playing four bowlers in the first Test against the West Indies in Antigua. The decision to drop Irfan Pathan, India's leading medium pacer, was baffling.

Definitely there is something wrong with the Indian think tank.
