Vats started off on a strong note and take a 2-0 lead, but Kuruvilla returned with a bang to pocket the next three games and book a place in Sunday’s final. She will now face top seed Joshna Chinappa, who defeated Delhi’s Tanvi Khanna in straight games.The men’s final will be an all-Maharashtra affair with top two seeds - Mahesh Mangaonkar and Abhishek Pradhan - squaring off against each other.
