Bhajji becomes father to a baby girl

The baby was born yesterday in London, according to sources close to the couple. Bhajji and Basra are yet to comment on the news.

Cricketer Harbhajan Singh and actress Geeta Basra have become parents to a young girl child.

The baby was born yesterday in London, according to sources close to the couple. Bajji and Basra are yet to comment on the news.

The couple tied the knot on October 29th last year at Singh's native place in Jalandhar, Punjab, after years of courtship.

The veteran off-spinner, who plays for Indian Premier League (IPL) side Mumbai Indians, is not a part of India’s Test team squad that is touring West Indies currently.

Basra, whose family lives in the UK, made her Bollywood debut with Emraan Hashmi-starrer “Dil Diya Hai” in 2006. She was last seen in “Second Hand Husband”, which also starred Punjabi actor-singer Gippy Grewal.
