Indi cricket team captain Virat Kohli has been identified as India's most trusted sports personality in a research conducted by TRA.

Virat Kohli is India's most trusted sports personality according to a report from consumer-insights company TRA.

The Indian cricket team captain, who has been at the top of his game both on the pitch and with brand endorsements, has placed above Sachin Tendulkar in the list.

Kohli recently hit 100m followers on social media as well, making him India's most followed sportsperson and the world's most followed cricketer on social media.

TRA's report of the Most Trusted Personalities in 2019 includes 39 personalities from Cinema, Sports, Business, among others. The study was conducted through primary research among 2315 consumers in 16 cities.

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan was identified as India's most trusted personality and also leads the list of actors, while Deepika Padukone topped the list for India’s most trusted female actor.

Among south Indian actors, Rajnikant tops the chart followed by Vijay at second and Vikram third.

Among business personalities, former Chairman of Tata Sons, Ratan Tata is India’s Most Trust Business Personality followed by Reliance Chairperson Mukesh Ambani as the 2 Most Trusted Business Personality of India.
