Rajendra wins bronze in Asian Championships wrestling

India's Rajendra Kumar won a bronze medal by defeating Javokhir Mirakhmedov of Uzbekistan in the 55-kg weight category at the wrestling Asian Championships.

India's Rajendra Kumar won a bronze medal at the Roman-Greco wrestling Asian Championships in Bishkek on Tuesday.

 

The Haryana wrestler defeated Javokhir Mirakhmedov of Uzbekistan in the 55-kg weight category to make the podium.

Naveen Sevlia lost his bronze medal match to Chinese wrestler Xiaoming Nie in the 130-kg division. Vikram Krushnath Kurade, too, lost in the bronze medal match against Khazakastan's Mirambek Ainagulov in the 63-kg division.
