PBL auction: Who went where?

Two new teams have been added for the third season of the competition.

Take a look at what to expect from this year's auction and which players will go under the hammer.

Players retained: P. V. Sindhu (Chennai Smashers), Sikki Reddy (Bengaluru Blasters), Saina Nehwal (Awadhe Warriors), Satwik Sairaj (Hyderabad Hunters), Lee Yong Dae (Mumbai Rockets), Vladimir Ivanov (Delhi Acers).

*) Ahmedabad Smash Masters bag Tai Tzu Ying for Rs. 52 lakh to kick-start the PBL auction ! The World No. 1 women's singles player will be making her debut in the league

*) Tzu Wei Wang goes to the North Eastern Warriors for Rs. 52 lakh.

*) Carolina Marin stays with Hyderabad Hunters ! She goes for Rs. 50 lakh to her old team.

*) Danish doubles specialist Christinna Pedersen will play for Awadhe Warriors! She goes for Rs. 42 lakh.

*) Indonesia's Pia Zebadiah is taken by Hyderabad Hunters for Rs. 14 lakh.

*) Doubles ace Prajakta Sawant will show her prowess for new team North Eastern Warriors. She goes for Rs. 7 Lakh.

*) A superb buy for Delhi Acers . They take Ashwini Ponnappa for Rs. 20 Lakh.

*) Christinna Pedersen's partner Kamilla Rytter Juhl goes to Ahmedabad Smash Masters for Rs. 35 Lakh.
