Nine Indians, including six women, advanced to the semifinals on Day Three of the Vojvodina Youth Boxing Tournament in Subotica, Serbia.

Nitu (48kg), Divya Pawar (54kg), Jyoti (51kg), Anamika (51kg), Sakshi (57kg) and Manisha (64kg) entered the medal rounds in the women’s draw. Among men, S. Barun Singh (49kg), Bhavesh Kattimani (52kg) and Vijaydeep (69kg) ensured a medal for themselves. Astha Pahwa (75kg) was the rare Indian competitor without a semifinal berth; she lost in the quarterfinals on Friday.
