A 50-run partnership between Tiwary and Kushagra has put Jharkhand in a strong position. Also brings up the 100 for the side. Stumps on day 3, Jharkhand 102/4. 110 away from victory.

J&K vs Railways | Dhruva Prasad: STUMPS DAY 3: J&K 145/6 in 53 overs. Captain Ian Dev Singh and Auqib Nabi at the crease. A lot of work to do tomorrow for the batters. A 22-run deficit to erase before setting a total and bowling opposition out. All in a day's work!

J&K vs Railways | Dhruva Prasad: Dropped! Karn Sharma drops a caught and bowled opportunity and relief for Abdul Samad. Jammu and Kashmir 111/4 with about 10 overs remaining in the day.

Mumbai vs Odisha | Amol Karhadkar: Captain Subhranshu Senapati nicks Shams Mulani to Shaw in slips and Raut gets Govinda Poddar lbw. Had Sarfaraz not dropped Rath at second slip in Raut's last over, the fate of the group would have been sealed. 18/3, Mumbai in a dominant mood.

Bengal vs Chandigarh | Y.B. Sarangi: Bengal declared its second innings at 181/8 in 56.1 overs to set a target of 413 runs for Chandigarh. Anustup Majumdar top scored with 43 followed by Abishek Porel (38) and Shahbaz Ahmed (32). Nirmohi, Jaskarandeep, Gurinder and Gambhir took two wickets apiece.

TN vs Jharkhand | S Dipak Ragav: A small partnership between Tiwary and Kushagra has developed now. 72/4. Tiwary hit Sai Kishore for a six. Warrier had a half-chance on the ropes but couldn't hold on to it. tough chance.

Mumbai vs Odisha | Amol Karhadkar: Siddharth Raut draws the first blood. Shantanu Mishra edges one and Sarfaraz Khan effortlessly catches it. 8/1, Anshuman Rath has been promoted to open.

Kerala vs Madhya Pradesh | P.K. Ajith Kumar: Kerala has suffered a major setback in its chase as it lost opener Rohan Kunnummal, who fell lbw to Mihir Hirwani for 75 (110b, 8x5). So he will have to be content with four fifties in as many innings, not four hundreds. The first wicket stand was worth 129. The other opener P. Rahul is batting on 58 (138b, 10x4). Vathsal Govind on four and Kerala 152 for one, with 18.2 overs remaining for the day.

WICKET! In a moment of impatience Henan Nazir perishes to give Karn Sharma his second scalp. He looked to go big down the ground but it went off the toe end of the bat and a simple catch for Yuvraj Singh at mid off.

J&K vs Railways | Dhruva Prasad: Very unlucky dismissal and Suryansh Raina has to go. He stepped out and flicked onto short leg's pads and the ball deflected and looped into the keeper's gloves. Jammu and Kashmir 90/3 in 28 overs.

TN vs Jharkhand | S Dipak Ragav: Jharkhand has steadied things here in the last 7 overs. not much happening for either Shahrukh or Mohammed.

Mumbai vs Odisha | Amol Karhadkar: That's the declaration! 532/9, with a lead of 248. It's tea as well. On a pitch that's started doing a few tricks, Odisha will have to bat out of its skins to save the match. For Mumbai, it's simple: win the match and progress to the knockouts

Kerala vs Madhya Pradesh | P.K. Ajith Kumar: Kerala has taken tea at 114 for no loss as openers Rohan Kunnummal (65 not out, 99b, 7x4) and P. Rahul (35 not out 118b, 5xh4) return to the dressing room to some rather rhythmical applause from their teammates. They have earned that sign of appreciation, but they must be knowing that plenty remains to be done still. Kerala is chasing Madhya Pradesh's 585 for nine declared.

J&K vs Railways | Dhruva Prasad: TEA DAY 3: Jammu and Kashmir 76/2 in 26 overs, trail Railways by 91 runs. One wicket apiece for Rahul Sharma and Shivam Chaudhary.

Andhra Pradesh vs Uttarakhand |M.R. Praveen Chandran: Andhra wins by eight wickets as captain Ricky Bhui scores the winning run. Opener Gnaneshwar remains unbeaten on 42.

Bengal vs Chandigarh | Y.B. Sarangi: Bengal 100/4 in 37 overs. Anustup Majumdar (32) and Abishek Porel (20) at crease. Shreshth Nirmohi 2/34. Overall lead 331.

Kerala vs Madhya Pradesh | P.K. Ajith Kumar: Kerala has started on a confident note as it chases Madhya Pradesh's 585 for nine declared. It is 90 for no loss with Rohan Kunnummal on 53 (78 b, 6x4), his fourth fifty in as many innings. He continues to strike the ball handsomely.  P. Rahul batting on 29 (104, 4x4).

Mumbai vs Odisha | Amol Karhadkar:  Aditya Tare steps out to hit a one-bounced four and raise his bat for his maiden fifty of the season. Mumbai cross 500-run mark too. But he is running out of partners. Mulani, Kotian and Avasthi have perished to spinners. 501/8

TN vs Jharkhand | S Dipak Ragav: WICKET !!! Siddharth strikes. A quicker one that skidded through and didn't bounce. Utkarsh singh tries to pull and is bowled. two stumps on the ground. he hit the previous ball for four. Jharkhand 15/1

Andhra Pradesh vs Uttarakhand |M.R. Praveen Chandran: Left arm spinner S.Ashish runs through Uttarakhand's lower order with a four wicket haul  ( 4/17). Uttarkhand all out for 101 in the second innings. Andhra needs 70 runs for a win.

J&K vs Railways | Dhruva Prasad: WICKET! Qamran Iqbal is gone after edging to second slip. A stunner of a take by Arindam Ghosh diving to his right. Rahul Sharma draws first blood. Jammu and Kashmir 17/1

Indrajith tries to go over midwicket. off the bottom of the bat and simple catch to the short-midwicket fielder. uncharacteristic shot. TN 135/7. Lead by 194 runs. Vijay Shankar along with the rest need to at least get the team to a score of 200

 

Karnataka vs Pondicherry | S. Dinakar: Pondicherry was 130 for six at lunch against Karnataka with skipper D. Rohit, unbeaten on 29, and S. Karthik, on eight, respectively. Off-spinner K. Gowtham took two of the four wickets to fall in the first session on day three at the SSN ground. Karnataka had declared its first innings at 453 for eight.

Andhra Pradesh vs Uttarakhand |M.R. Praveen Chandran:
Uttarakhand reeling at lunch. Stephen has a fifer  for his efforts. Uttarakhand 89/6 with Kunal Chandela batting on 28 and Saurabh Rawat batting on 7.

Kerala vs Madhya Pradesh | P.K. Ajith Kumar: Kerala 14 for no loss at lunch, chasing Madhya Pradesh's mammoth 585 for nine declared. It has been by far the most eventful session in this match, as 125 runs were scored and four wickets fell. Kerala needs to preserve its wickets though if it has to entertain hopes of going past the Madhya Pradesh score.

Mumbai vs Odisha | Amol Karhadkar: Aditya Tare and Shams Mulani negotiate the last half-hour of the session without much fuss. Mumbai 402/5 at lunch, with a lead of 118 runs. See you in 40 mins

J&K vs Railways | Dhruva Prasad: Hundred for Yuvraj Singh! He smashes Abid Mushtaq for a four down the ground to bring up his maiden First Class hundred in his debut Ranji Trophy season. Railways 425 for nine. 

He falls soon after, adds Dhruva. WICKET! An unfortunate end to a brilliant innings. Yuvraj Singh is run out for 103. Railways 426 all out and that will be Lunch on Day 3.

J&K vs Railways | Dhruva Prasad: Yuvraj Singh tonks Parvez Rasool for two sixes in over to move to 91. Railways 409/8 and Jammu and Kashmir doesn't seem to have an answer to this partnership

Bengal vs Chandigarh | Y.B. Sarangi: Bengal 18 for the loss of captain Abhimanyu Easwaran's wicket in its second essay at lunch on the third day. Has an overall lead of 249 over Chandigarh. Abhimanyu (14) was caught behind off Shreshth Nirmohi.

Kerala vs Madhya Pradesh | P.K. Ajith Kumar: It's all happening here, as  Bill Lawry would have said. Yash Dubey's monumental innings has come to an end finally, lbw to Jalaj Saxena for 289 (591, 35x4, 2x6). Madhya Pradesh declared its first innings straightaway at 585 for nine. Jalaj finished with six for 116 in 51.3 overs. Kerala will get 153 overs to overtake that total and clinch a place in the knock-out phase.

TN vs Jharkhand | S Dipak Ragav: WICKET Anukul Roy strikes again. Shahrukh Khan is trapped leg-before. TN in deep trouble 102/6. Skipper Vijay Shankar walks in. One weakness of Shahrukh has been against spin, especially at the start of the innings.

J&K vs Railways | Dhruva Prasad: A 72-run stand for the ninth wicket between Yuvraj Singh and Akash Pandey has swelled Railways' lead to 101. Railways 361/8 at Drinks in the first session of Day 3.


Andhra Pradesh vs Uttarakhand |M.R. Praveen Chandran:
Uttarakhand in trouble as Stephen takes his fourth wicket. Deepesh Nainwal is the batter who has been dismissed lbw for 9 in front for . Uttarakhand 62/4 and it leads  by just 29 runs. Kunal Chandela batting on 9. Swapnil Singh has just joined him in the middle.

Mumbai vs Odisha | Amol Karhadkar: Sarfaraz Khan crosses 150-run mark with a nudge off Mohanty behind the stumps. Brace yourselves for a barrage on Sarfaraz Khan's phenomenal stats in FC cricket.

Prasant Rana couldn't have asked for better maiden wicket than Armaan Jaffer. Got him trapped lbw for 125 (223b, 281m, 15x4, 2x6) Mumbai 353/4 in 88.2 ovs, lead of 69

Bengal vs Chandigarh | Y.B. Sarangi: Chandigarh all out for 206 in 68.2 overs. Added 73 runs in one and a half hours of play on day three. Overnight batsman Ankit Kaushik began from 33 to score his half-century (63). He added 44 with previous evening's partner Gaurav Gambhir (13) and 57 in quick time with the big hitting Jaskarandeep Singh, who hammered a 34-ball 31.

Mukesh Kumar removed Gambhir early. Later, Ishan Porel had Kaushik caught by his brother and trapped Shresth Nirmohi in one over.

Jaskarandeep was the last man to go as he holed out at deep midwicket off Shahbaz Ahmed.

Bengal, which got a substantial first innings lead of 231 runs, chose to bat again.

Kerala vs Madhya Pradesh | P.K. Ajith Kumar: Madhya Pradesh is showing more urgency than it has in any stage of this match thus far, as it has added 71 runs in an hour, though it has lost the wicket of Mihir Hirwani, bowled by Jalaj Saxena for 36 (43, 7x4). But opener Yash Dubey is still there, on 258 (561b, 32x4, 1x6). Madhya Pradesh 545 for six.

J&K vs Railways | Dhruva Prasad: Fifty up for Yuvraj Singh and Railways is crusing at 344 for eight. Abdul Samad has been brought into the attack. Loud cheers from the dugout with every passing run.

Mumbai vs Odisha | Amol Karhadkar: This game will go down in the history books as the first time FC game in which three boy wonders from Mumbai's stables - Sarfaraz, Armaan and Prithvi, all from the same school - featured together. Besides celebrating each other's success, Sarfaraz (136*, 147b) and Armaan (111*, 211b) have added 64 runs in 13 overs. Odisha have taken the new ball after 83 ovs, 323/3, trailing by 39 runs. Can Mohanty or Rana break the partnership?

Mumbai vs Odisha | Amol Karhadkar: Morning from the penultimate day of Ranji Trophy group stage. Can Sarfaraz Khan and Armaan Jaffer continue to make Odisha bowlers look like schoolboys? If they can for the first session, Mumbai will definitely have a passage into the KOs.

8:50am: J&K vs Railways | Dhruva Prasad: Crucial day three coming up from Chemplast. Railways has the edge with the first innings lead and J&K will need to wrap up the tail quickly to stay in the hunt. With 18 wickets falling on the first two days, a result is very likely.
