An unbeaten 71 from Bodapati Sumanth helped Andhra register a six-wicket win over Rajasthan in their Vijay Hazare Trophy match on Monday.

Rajasthan was put in to bat first and posted 229 in its quota of 50 overs. Wicket-keeper batsman Chetan Bist was the top scorer with an unbeaten 82. Bist stitched together a vital partnership with Salman Khan, who later retired hurt. Bandaru Ayyapa was the pick of the Andhra bowlers as he scalped 3/57.

A 70-run partnership between Srikar Bharat (38) and G. H. Vihari (49) set the tone for Rajasthan's chase. Sumanth walked in at three-down and struck a crucial knock as his side chased down the target with five overs to spare.
