Dinesh Karthik and K. L. Rahul got candid doing a best friend challenge at the team hotel in Colombo where the Indian team is camping for the Nidahas Trophy.

Taking a small set of questions written and given to them, Rahul and Karthik provided their opinions of each other, dressing-room secrets and what career will suit them after they finish playing cricket.

Rahul, just as Karthik, was very positive in his opinion of his now-India team-mate, saying he was 'chatty, humble as a human being and extremely talented cricketer'. According to Karthik, Rahul being a chilled out guy was particularly likeable.

Both were clearly happy that Hardik Pandya, the apparent attention seeker in the dressing room, isn't around, though Pandya's entertainment value was being missed.

Answering to the question 'if not a cricketer?', Karthik and Rahul disagreed with each other's opinions. Karthik believes modelling would suit Rahul, who, however, feels he isn't photogenic. And to Rahul's suggestion that Karthik would make a good actor, the Tamil Nadu wicketkeeper-batsman pointed to his lack of height as a potential deal breaker.
