Rashid Khan out of team list, but not of BPL action

It was a comedy of errors at the Mirpur Stadium on Monday. As Dhaka Dynamites and Comilla Victorians locked horns in a Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) encounter, there was huge confusion over Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan playing the game for the Comilla side.

Rashid Khan has been one of the most sought after bowlers in the Bangladesh Premier League.

It was a comedy of errors at the Mirpur Stadium on Monday. As Dhaka Dynamites and Comilla Victorians locked horns in a Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) encounter, there was huge confusion over Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan playing the game for the Comilla side.

The Comilla Victorians team list that did not feature Rashid Khan in the playing eleven.

 

The team sheet which was given to the scribes covering the match, had Khan’s name missing from the list. But taking all by surprise, the Afghan spinner took the field for the Comilla outfit.

During the toss, Comilla captain Tamim Iqbal too did not mention anything about Rashid’s ouster. However, the team sheets were later replaced with Khan’s name included in the playing eleven.
