Spin was introduced in the third over itself suggesting the  slowness of the track; the low total on the board may also have prompted Raina to bring in the spinners this early.

It made no difference. Runs were obtained without much fuss and Tanmay even indulged in a couple of sweet drives, one through cover for a boundary and the other through extra cover for three.

After six overs, it's 33/0, at lunch.

After surviving a tough period against the spinners, he opened up, targeting part-time spinner K. Rohit Rayudu. Rayudu was carted for a six and a four through mid-wicket, both stylish slog sweeps.

Hyderabad made a few bowling changes in this period. Mohammed Siraj was brought back for one over, while B. Sandeep, another part-time spinner, bowled three.

It allowed Raina and his partner Rinku Singh to breathe easy for a while. The jitters, judging from the body language, have gone away.
