Chennaiyin FC signed central defender Masih Saighani on Monday as the Afghan player joined moved from Bangladesh club Abahani Dhaka.
Saighani, who can be deployed as a central defensive midfielder or central defender, has previous experience of playing in India, having represented Aizawl FC in the 2017 season of I-League.

Speaking of Saighani's signing, head coach John Gregory said: “Masih (Saighani) is an experienced player who ticks all the boxes for us.
