Premier League 2022-23 Points Table: Arsenal returns to top after Chelsea win

Arsenal reclaimed its lead on top of the Premier League table after it beat Chelsea 1-0 through a Gabriel goal.

Manchester City had briefly taken the lead after a late Erling Haaland penalty helped Pep Guardiloa’s side to a narrow 2-1 win over Fulham.

Tottenham Hotspur is third after the 2-1 loss to Liverpool, while Newcastle United is third after an impressive start to the season.

Manchester United remains fifth after losing 3-1 to Aston Villa while Liverpool is eighth with 19 points.
