"Welcome to..... No we can't bring ourselves to say it"
Russian club Zenit St Petersburg's Twitter handle was lost for words after the club's fans welcomed the team bus with a spectacular display of fireworks along the way to the St. Petersburg stadium for the Europa League second-leg tie against Fenerbache.
The atmosphere created was as exhilarating as it was fearsome, which brought back the memories of Manchester United's team being welcomed by scores of Galatasaray fans with lit flares and unfurling a banner reading "Welcome To Hell" in November 1993.
The fiery welcome seems to have done its trick as Zenit overturned a 0-1 deficit from the away leg to win 3-1 in the second leg to progress to the Round of 16.
Zenit has been pitted against Spanish club Villarreal in the next round, with the first-leg to be played on March 7 at St. Petersburg.
