Mumbai City FC will look to extend its unbeaten streak when it faces Emami East Bengal in Kolkata on Saturday.

East Bengal is without a win in the Durand Cup so far and comes into the match after a 0-1 loss to arch-rival ATK Mohun Bagan in the Kolkata derby. It has two draws and one loss in three games and is out of contention for a place in the quarterfinals.

In its last match of the tournament, it will be a good opportunity for head coach Stephen Constantine to show what his team can deliver before the Indian Super League season begins next month.

Mumbai City FC, on the other hand, comes into the match after a thumping 5-1 win over Rajasthan United and will look to continue the same momentum in this game as well. It holds the second highest goal difference in the Durand Cup 2022 – tied with Mohammedan Sporting Club – and second only to Odisha FC.
