Kerala Blasters’C.K. Vineeth celebrates with his teammates after scoring a goal against Delhi Dynamos in the Indian Super League (ISL).

Kerala Blasters' C.K. Vineeth is set to complete his move to two-time Indian Super League champion Chennaiyin FC.

On Saturday, Vineeth posted a cryptic tweet saying ' Vanakkam' (Welcome in Tamil) with a picture of an aircraft carrier, indicating that he is on his way to Chennai.

The 30-year-old striker endured a difficult first half of the season at the Blasters with just two goals in 10 appearances as the club languishes in the eighth position in the points table. Vineeth has borne the brunt of supporters' vitriol for his performances in yellow in recent times after the Blasters failed to register a single victory in 11 matches.

Chennaiyin, placed last on the table, will hope that Vineeth rediscovers his scoring touch at the Marina Arena to help the club end the season on a positive note, including a maiden AFC Cup campaign in the horizon.

With 25 players already in its roster, CFC will need to offload a player to accommodate Vineeth.
