Full time: FC GOA 3-0 CHENNAIYIN FC - Seiminlen Doungel, Ferran Corominas and Carlos Pena have handed the win to Goa tonight as The Gaurs seal a big 3-0 win over Chennaiyin! Chennaiyin, in its new-look, failed to cause any threat to Goa.

90+1' - Local boy Gama comes on for Manvir. Manvir had a great game tonight despite on getting on the score sheet, setting up goals and keeping the attack flowing.

90' - It has started raining at Fatorda, and three minutes have been added on.

89' - Liston, 20, comes on for goal scorer Doungel.

STAT: FC Goa has scored three or more goals in eight of its last eleven matches!

87' - Young Princeton comes on for Jackichand!

81' - GOAL! FC GOA 3-0 CHENNAIYIN FC. Carlos Pena scores! Pena taps in from the near post as Brandon picks him out from the free kick. Goa has edged closer to the three points tonight.

80' - Goian gets a yellow for bringing down Coro, who was trying to cut in from the left. Goian accuses Coro of diving.

79' - Valskis replaces Saighani for Chennaiyin.

76' - Confusion between Sabia and Goian to clear the ball sees Brandon pounce on the loose ball.....but he shoots it wide of the goal!

75' - WIDE! Jacki misses a golden chance to make it 3-0 for Goa as he misses the target from the right. Doungel found him with a smart pass but Jacki can't apply the finish to the ball. Quite like Udanta for BFC vs NorthEast.

73' - Nawaz pulls off a diving save to deny Chhangte at goal! Great effort from the 19-year-old goalkeeper.

72' - Dragos comes off, Crivellaro in - for Chennaiyin.

70' - Manvir sprints on the right wing, trying to cut in the center. However, Sabia intercepts!

STAT: Last three of Coro's goals have all been assisted by Jacki!

62' - GOAL! FC GOA 2-0 CHENNAIYIN FC. CORO SCORES! A lovely first touch combined with a cool finish hands Coro the goal as he brings up Goa's lead to 2-0. Manvir, from the center, teamed up with Jacki. Jacki whipped in a cross from the right wing, which Coro easily put past Kaith at net.

61' - The one-hour mark is crossed and it is still 1-0 in the favour of Goa.

58' - Chennaiyin loses the ball in the center of midfield and Coro makes the most of it. He travels with the ball as Doungel makes the overlapping run. Coro squares the ball for Doungel, whose shot, which is kept low, is collected by Kaith.

57' - Jacki spots the keeper off the line and then tries an audacious effort from behind the half line but Kaith moves back quickly and saves it.

57' - Dragos, from the right, whips in a cross - which goes above Schembri and out of the park too. Chhangte is unhappy as he was inside the penalty box, in a good position to strike an attempt.

55' - Great work yet again from Coro who picks out Jackichand on the right from the center. Jacki crosses the ball for Manvir in the box but the delivery reaches the far right end, for Lenny, who sends it off target.

52' - Seriton's tackle covers Chhangte, who was running into the box after being opened up by his midfield.

49' - Igor Stimac, head coach of India national team, is in the crowd too. He must be impressed with the Indian boys in the home side, so far!

47' - Goa duo Boumos and Bedia is seen in the crowd, watching the game from the stands. Is Goa missing them tonight?

46' - The second half is underway. Thapa is brought on for Dhanpal in midfield.

HALF TIME: FC GOA 1-0 CHENNAIYIN: The first half comes to an end as Goa walks off with a one-goal lead. Seiminlen Doungel's debut goal keeps the Gaurs in the lead at the break.

45' - A minute has been added. Chennai has a corner taken by Dragos, but Seriton heads it out. After a stray of passes, Dhanpal has an attempt from distance, which is wide of goal.

43' - Brandon expects a one-two from Coro as he passes to Coro, while himself running into the box. Coro, though, takes a shot which forces Kaith to pull off a save.

42' - Brandon tests Kaith from distance with a knuckeball from 40 yards out! To Kaith's relief, the delivery flies over the goal.

39' - Chhangte misses a golden chance to find the net as he is flagged offside after Saighani found him on the right with a fine throughball.

STAT: Seiminlen Doungel becomes the first Indian goal scorer of season six!

30' - GOAL! FC Goa 1-1 Chennaiyin FC. Seiminlen Doungel scores on Goa debut! Seriton starts the build-up as he moves up the field from right-back. He cuts it back for Manvir in the box, who in turn sets up Doungel in front of goal, with only a tap-in needed for the finish. Doungel delivers and Goa leads!

28' - Goa is enjoying more of the ball now, 60% of the possession, to be precise. The home side has completed 148 passes as compared to Chennai's 82.

25' - CHANCE! Chhangte swings his weaker right foot for an effort at goal, but Nawaz dives to collect it. Thoi cut in from the right, before Schembri helped set up Chhangte. Fall, in the centre of defence, completely missed Schembri's pass.

23' - Free-kick for Goa, which is taken by Brandon. His aerial delivery lands near Doungel, whose height doesn't help with a header. Before the set piece was taken, the referee had a word with assistant coach of Goa, probably warning him for his behaviour.

21' - OFF THE POST! Dragos takes a corner-kick and sends a ball towards the far post, where Sabia heads it down. Unfortunately for Sabia, the header hits the bar.

19' - CHANCE! Coro picks out Doungel with a fine pass as he judges the space between the defenders very well. Newbie Gaur Doungel rushes to the goal, but Kaith comes out to safeguard it.

17' - Saighani whips in an unexpected cross from the left, aiming for Thoi to make the run towards it. To Goa's relief, it was cleared by Seriton.

16' - We can hear one of the coaches yelling, "Keep the ball, keep it!". Could be Goa's Sergio Lobera, I reckon.

14' - Lenny is shown the yellow card for his tackle on Jerry, who was running in from the left flank, looking to cut back for his midfield partners. This becomes the first booking of the match.

10' - Dragos is brought down by Seriton on his way into the box. As Dragos goes down, he appeals for a penalty but the referee lets Seriton go free. No penalty here, folks - says Pranjal, the ref. The team in blue is furious.

8' - Pena, from the backline, keeps his pass a bit too heavy for Brandon up front as the attacker can't connect with the ball.

5' - Jackichand makes a run from the right into the box as he tries to get the better of Jerry of Chennaiyin. Jerry does well to obstruct Jacki's attempt.

3' - Brandon takes the first free-kick for Goa and aims for Fall in the box. Kaith comes off his line to punch away the delivery.

1' - Kickoff! The match is underway.

- Both teams have opted for a 4-2-3-1 shape but FC Goa has only three foreigners in the squad: Coro is in attack, whereas Fall and Pena at the heart of defence. Doungel, who was bought this season, starts on the right of midfield. As for Chennaiyin, Thapa is on bench but Dhanpal returns to the team. Big signing Goian is in central defence, and new striker Schembri leads the attack. As many as seven new faces in the team from Chennai.

RECAP OF YESTERDAY'S MATCH

Jamshedpur FC began its ISL 2019-20 campaign on a winning note as it took three points from its encounter against Odisha FC in a 2-1 win.

Despite being reduced to ten men after Bikash Jairu picked up a red card, Jamshedpur bounced back late into the game as new arrival Sergio Castel got the better of Francisco Dorronsoro with a beautiful dink. Full match report: Castel winner gives 10-man Jamshedpur win over Odisha

MATCH PREVIEW

Goa will look to start the new season on a winning note against a club that finished rock-bottom in the ISL last time around. However, after a summer of rebuilding, Chennaiyin will be eager to prove that the last season was just an aberration.

Interestingly, both managers - Sergio Lobera and John Gregory - are into their third seasons with FC Goa and Chennaiyin. As expected, Goa has an aura of stability around it, with most of its key players, international and domestic, staying with the side.

The likes of Ferran Corominas, Hugo Boumous, Ahmed Jahouh and Edu Bedia are all into their third season too with the Gaurs. Mandar Rao Dessai, Seriton Fernandes, Lenny Rodrigues, Jackichand Singh are all familiar with Lobera’s methods. Full season preview: Gaurs look to do one better than last season

Chennaiyin, on the other hand, has undergone a rebuild after the shambles of last season. Gregory has completely revamped his foreign contingent bar Eli Sabia and has brought in six new foreigners.

Even the Indian contingent has seen some changes, with the likes of Vishal Kaith, Lallianzuala Chhangte, Edwin Sydney Vanspaul and Rahim Ali coming into the side. Full season preview: Gregory keen on Chennaiyin turnaround after dismal last season

Goa will be favourite at home but fortunately for Chennaiyin, the host will miss the services of Ahmed Jahouh who controls the tempo for the team, after the red card he picked up in last year's final against Bengaluru FC.
