Neha Tripathi shot a stunning five-under 67 to take the lead in the ninth leg of the Hero women’s professional golf tour, at Prestige Golfshire here on Thursday.
At the end of two rounds, Neha is three-under 141, two shots ahead of second-placed Gaurika Bishnoi. Amateur Ridhima Dilawari shot a creditable round of one-under 71 that brought her to even-par 144 and third place. Overnight leader Gursimar Badwal (two-over 146), slipped to fourth.
Neha, starting the round in tied-third, carded birdies on fourth and sixth holes. On the back-nine, she made four consecutive birdies (10th to 13th hole). A bogey on the 18th was her only blemish on the day.
