France and Ireland men's hockey teams booked a place in the Olympic Qualifiers (to be held in October or November) by finishing in the top-two of the third and final FIH men's Hockey Series Finals at le Touquet Paris-Plage, France on Sunday.
World number 15 France and world number 11 Ireland now join India, South Africa, Malaysia, Canada -- teams which have qualified for the Olympic Qualifiers by finishing top at the FIH Series Finals at Bhubaneswar, India and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Host France took the lead through a field goal from Blaise Rogeau in the 10th minute, while Sean Murray scored the equaliser for Ireland in the final minute of the first quarter. French captain Victor Charlet scored from two penalty corners as the host nation sealed the match with a 3-1 win.

Charlet finished joint-top scorer of the tournament, alongside Ireland's Shane O'Donoghue and Korea's Jang Jonghyun.
In the Women's Series Finals, India, Ireland, Korea have so far secured a spot in the Olympic Qualifiers by reaching the final of the Series Finals at Hiroshima, Japan and Banbridge, Ireland.
Japan reached the final at Hiroshima, but will not feature in the Olympic Qualifiers as its place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics has been secured as the host nation and as the Asian Games 2018 champion.
