Summary: A massive victory for the third placed Haryana Steelers as it retains its spot on the table. Vikash Kandola with a match defining super 10 who was ably supported by Ashish, who also got a super 10. U Mumba on the other hand which seemed like it was making a comeback in the second half, failed to do so due to its poor defense. The star performer of U Mumba's previous game, Fazel was not on top of his game as he sustained a head injury early in the game and that proved to be costly. U Mumba missed out on the opportunity to leapfrog to third place. Vikash and his men will be ecstatic with the kind of display they have put up tonight.
37-26 Vikash goes in and gets a bonus. Comfortable win for the Steelers and they retain their spot
36-26 Ashish goes in to raid and he gets an easy point. Its their game now
35-25 AJith is not fast enough as he is pushed off the mat by the defense

31-24 Vikash against two defenders and he picks out Shivam. Massive point from the star raider
30-24 DO OR DIE! Shivam is asked to do the job yet again and he gets a bonus here
30-23 Vikash gets a touch point due to a terrible work from Pankaj. U Mumba's defense has not improved and are making the same mistakes time and again. Looks like this game is done and dusted.
TIME OUT! Ashish, Abhishek and Vikash with Super 10s but this game is leaning towards the third placed Steelers.
29-23 Shivam comes in and it is just a bonus. Steelers ask for a review and that is a very good review as the raider has failed to cross the bonus line. Successful review for the Steelers

TIME OUT! U Mumba has let the control slip as it gave away easy points for Vikash and Ashish, thanks to errors from Rinku and Harendra. If U Mumba is planning on a comeback, these kind of rookie mistakes has to be corrected. This game can still go either way.
29-23 DO OR DIE! Vikash goes in for a crucial raid and he delivers. He picks Fazel and another defender. Massive Two points for Steelers and Vikash.
27-23 Mohit goes in and he is taken care by Shivam
27-22 DO OR DIE! for U Mumba and they push their main man Ajith but he sinks. The Steelers defense turning out just at the right time. Compact defense! Abhishek gets a GREEN CARD for pulling the jersey of the raider
26-22 Vikash it is yet again and that is a point. Poor stuff from Rinku. No Intent in his body block. The difference is four now. u Mumba cannot afford this kind of defense.
25-22 Vikash comes in and its the usual. Gets a point as he slips out of a weak ankle hold of Harendra
TIME OUT! What a turn around this has been for U Mumba. Amazing resilience from the men in orange as the difference is just two points now
24-22 Ajith claims a point and man that is an important one. U Mumba is looking to jump to the third spot. They are just a multi point raid away
24-21 Ashish goes in and he is stopped courtesy of Abhishek who gets a spot on ankle hold. Raiders doing the work here

23-19 Vikash is back in the mix, goes in deep and is brought down by the defense lead by Rinku. U Mumba has comeback with great intent this half
23-18 Ajith is brought down by another raider, Vikash here. Rare sight to say the least. Sensible play
22-18 Meetu gets another bonus for the Steelers
21-18 Ajith! WOW! What a jump that was. Setting an example of how the footwork should be
21-17 U Mumba gets a bonus hereas Ajith lands his toe past the line and its a four point difference
21-16 Ashish gets a hand on Fazel, who has had an average outing tonight
20-16 Abhishek is brought down yet again by Sureder Nada with a brilliant ankle hold
19-16 Ashish is the raider and he gets a bonus point
18-16 A solitary defender and Abhishek gets a touch point. Its an ALL OUT
HALF TIME! It has been an excellent half for Haryana Steelers which has displayed all round performance. Vikash has seven points towards his name and is aiming for yet another super 10 but his side is on the verge of an all out. Meanwhile, U Mumba has found its form in the last five minutes as it's creeping slowly and the difference is reduced to just five points. A blockbuster second half awaits!
18-13 U Mumba gets a point here and it's a close match. Five point deficit between the teams
18-12 Ashish is constantly looking for a point and he gets two. Bonus and an error from Rinku
16-12 Ajith comes in to raid with just two defenders on the other side and he touches Ravi who is off the mat
16-11 Ashish on raid now. He has two points towards his name and he gets another through bonus. U Mumba has challenged the decision. Poor review from Fazel, the foot was clearly places beyond the bonus line. REVIEW LOST

4-3 Fazel is picked up by Ashish. Massive point and that was a great kick
3-3 Haryana gets a bonus and the scores are level yet again. This game is going to be as close as it can get

2-1 It's Vikash again and he has got a point through toe touch. Looks like a plan well executed

7:10pm: U Mumba had a spectacular day at the office yesterday, as it trounced the Bengal Warriors 37-27. Raiding duo V Ajith Kumar and Abhishek had solid outings and combined for 17 points, but it was the defence that really shone against the Warriors. Skipper Fazel Atrachali scored a season-high eight tackle points, while Right Corner Rinku also picked up a High 5. If U Mumba’s defence can emulate their display against the Warriors in all their remaining matches, they will likely secure a playoff berth with ease.
7:00pm: After three successive wins, the Haryana Steelers was handed a reality check in its last outing, as it succumbed to a 45-27 loss against the Puneri Paltan. Coach Rakesh Kumar will want his side to brush the result off as an anomaly and focus on their good run prior to that. The Steelers are currently third on the points table but are only six points clear of seventh-placed Puneri Paltan and have also played a game more. A defeat today could prove to be detrimental to their playoff aspirations.
