India's sporting icons exercise their right to vote

India's sports personalities cast their vote on Sunday in the ongoing sixth phase of general elections.

Bharatiya Janata Party's East Delhi's candidate and former India batsman Gautam Gambhir was among the early voters at Rajinder Nagar on Sunday and was accompanied by his wife Natasha Jain.

"Done my bit !! It's your turn now.. Go Vote Delhi," the 37-year old old tweeted.

Virat Kohli exercised his right to vote at a polling booth in Gurugram on Sunday morning.

"Voting is your right and responsibility towards nation building. Go vote." the Indian cricket team skipper tweeted.

Indian pacer Ishant Sharma pictured himself with the inked finger as he tweeted, "Every vote count matters!! We must vote for hope, vote for life and for a better future and a better nation!! Jai hind!"
