Cue Slam: Manan Chandra does it for Delhi Dons

Manan Chandra blanked Sourav Kothari in the single-frame snooker decider to clinch Delhi Dons’ 3-2 win over Gujarat Kings in a round-robin match of the Cue Slam Indian Cue Masters League at the Rajpath Club on Wednesday.

Chandra won the frame 42-0 to give his side its second victory in four matches and take it into the semifinals.

With Kings leading 2-1, Dons’ 9-ball pair of Laura Evans and Malkeet beat Alok Kumar and Daria Sirotina to force the fifth rubber, which Chandra closed out.

Bengaluru Buddies’ 3-2 win over Hyderabad Hustlers in the other match ensured that Gujarat Kings remained in the competition.
