Three Indians in top 20 in World squash

Three Indians are in the top 20 in the world squash ranking as per the latest list released on December 1. Of the three — Joshna Chinappa (15), Saurav Ghosal (16) and Dipika Pallikal Karthik (20) — it was Ghosal who made the biggest jump of five rungs from 21 he was placed last month.

Among the rest, Harinder Pal Sandhu made major strides, jumping to 52 from the 69 he was in the previous month. Currently he is the second highest ranked among male players behind Ghosal. Vikram Malhotra who had held that position has slid to 69 and four rungs below him was Mahesh Mangaonkar.

As for other women players behind Joshna and Dipika there were no one nearby the leaders.
