Veer Chotrani crashes out of World Junior Squash Championship

India's last hope in the individual competitions lost to L. Anderson of England.

L. Anderson of England ended the hopes of Veer Chotrani in the quarterfinal with a 11-8, 11-9, 9-11, 11-7 win on Friday in the World junior Individual Squash Championship being held here.

Expectations crashed despite Chotrani making it a close fight right through. The Indian even grabbed a game, the third, but the fight ebbed out there virtually.

The junior women's team championship phase will be held from August 5 to 9.
