Shaunae Miller-Uibo overcame the likes of Dina Asher-Smith and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce to claim the women's 200m gold at the IAAF Diamond League event in Birmingham on Sunday.
The Bahamas athlete crossed the finish line in 22.24s, while Asher-Smith finished second with a timing of 22.36s and Fraser-Pryce bagged the final podium place at 22.50s. Two-time World Champion Dafne Schippers finished fourth.
However, Miller-Uibo, who hasn't lost a race since 2017, would participate only in 400m and not in 200m at the World Championships in Doha due to scheduling conflicts at the competition.
Meanwhile, Chinese Taipei's Cheng Chao-Tsun caused an upset by winning gold in men's javelin with a season best throw of 87.75m. Six of the top seven javelin throwers in the world were part of the event and the Asian champion came up with an impressive performance to bag the top spot.
In women's 100m hurdles, Danielle Williams of Jamaica defeated world-record holder Kendra Harrison and Olympic-champion Brianna McNeal to the title.
She finished the race in 12.46s, while Harrison's world record stands at 12.20s.
