Shot-putter Tajinderpal fourth with 19.73m in Poland

Poland’s Michal Haratyk, the European champion and World No. 5, won the gold with a personal best of 22.32m while Nigeria’s Commonwealth Games silver medallist Chuk Enekwechi (21.26m) finished second.

Asian shot put champion Tajinderpal Singh Toor finished fourth with a best of 19.73m in the Kamila Skolimowska Festival of Throws at Wladyslawowo, Poland, on Saturday.

Toor, the World No. 31 and Asian Games gold medallist who has a personal best of 20.75m and a season best of 20.36, opened his series with 19.68 and produced his day’s best in his next effort.
