Top seeds Leander Paes and Purav Raja beat third seeds Ruan Roelofse of South Africa and Joe Salisbury of Britain 7-6(4), 6-3 in the doubles semifinals of the $75,000 Challenger tennis tournament in the US.

In the $50,000 Challenger in Japan, Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan in partnership with Christopher Rungkat of Indonesia was beaten in the final, 10-8 in the super tie-break, by the unseeded Japanese pair of Ben Mclachlan and Yasutaka Uchiyama.

The champion team collected 80 ATP points and $3,100 while the runner-up pocketed 48 points and $1,800.

In the $15,000 ITF women’s event in Spain, Snehadevi Reddy in partnership with Charlotte Roemer of Ecuador was beaten in the doubles final by the Japanese pair of Misa Eguchi and Akiko Omae.
