B. Sai Praneeth encountered a tough fight against Lakshya Sen but still managed to win in straight games and win the tie 4-3 for Bengaluru Raptors.

Earlier, Pune 7 Aces' Line Kjaersfeldt and Vladimir Ivanov levelled the tie with a win against Marcus Ellis and Lauren Smith.

Match 5 - Lakshya Sen vs B. Sai Praneeth

Second game

13-15 Lakshya saves two match points but he smashes into the net when he had a chance to equalise and Praneeth wins in straight games.

11-13 What a strong comeback from Lakshya Sen! Picks himself up after going nine points down and reduces the gap to just two points.

3-10 Lakshya Sen already looks defeated as Praneeth attacks with dominance. He's looked dangerous at the net.

2-8 This could get over quicker than we expected. Praneeth is proving too good for Lakshya and the teenager goes into the mid-game interval pondering.

2-7 With a pin-point smash to the corner, Praneeth extends his lead. That injured thumb looks like no hidrance at all to his game.

9-15 Praneeth takes the first game but Lakshya Sen has shown signs of a better second game and we could even see the match going down to a decider here.

15-9 That's the match to Pune! Line Kjaersfeldt and Vladimir Ivanov resist a minor comeback from the formidable Bengaluru pair.

12-5 Line and Ivanov look unbeatable at the moment! Ellis and Smith are playing with everything they've got but the calm pair on the other side of the net counters everything. 

9-3 Nothing gets past Ivanov whose towering figure in front of the net is proving too much of a hindrance for Ellis and Smith.

8-2 With two mistakes from Ivanov, Bengaluru Raptors get off the mark in the second game. But as things stand at the mid-game interval, Pune seems to be running away with this match.
