Anoop Kumar to join IBC as Professional coach

Joe Clough, who has trained legendary boxers like Evander Holyfield, Leo Randolph, world champions Johnny Bumphus and Rocky Lockridge, will train the 40 young boxers, turning up for the camp.

Anoop Kumar, who has ensured the rise of Mary Kom to the Olympic glory, will be Joe Clough’s chief associate at the camp.

Indian Boxing Council will start a Pro Camp at SAI Rohtak and former national women’s coach, Dronacharya award winner, Anoop Kumar will also be joining the IBC as a professional coach.

Boxing Pro, L. Sarita Devi will also join the 30-day training camp at the Sports Authority of India in Rohtak which gets underway from December 27. The camp will feature boxers from Services, various Police departments and other government organisations. Anoop Kumar, who has ensured the rise of Mary Kom to the Olympic glory, will be Clough’s chief associate at the camp.
