Gujarat v Jharkhand in Nagpur

Toss: Gujarat won the toss, elected to bat

Stumps: Gujarat ended the day at a strong 283 for 3. Priyank Panchal, this season's highest run-getter, scored an unbeaten 144. He was ably supported by Parthiv Patel, who scored a half-century. The two put on 139 runs in 39.4 overs.

Mumbai v Tamil Nadu in Rajkot

Toss: Tamil Nadu won the toss, elected to bat

Stumps: Tamil Nadu ended day one at 261 for 6, with Vijay Shankar and Aswin Crist at the crease. Shankar's unbeaten 41 has helped his team sail through a shaky period - it lost three wickets for 24 runs.
