Services won the toss and opted to bowl, which turned out to be a nightmare as Akshat Reddy played a captain’s knock for the host. He smashed 127 off 116 balls, which included 10 fours and three sixes.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Kolla Sumanth’s 26-ball 56 — laced with three fours and four sixes — helped Hyderabad to 329 for the loss of five wickets in its stipulated 50 overs.

None of the Services batsmen, except skipper Gahlaut Rahul Singh (64), could handle Siraj. They were wrapped up for 201, with Hardik Rajeev Sethi being the second-highest scorer (38).
