New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and opted to field against Afghanistan in a World Cup 2019 match at Taunton on Saturday.

Team news: Afghanistan has three changes with Noor Ali Zadran, Aftab Alam and Ikram Ali Khil coming in. No changes for New Zealand.

Pitch report: There is plenty of grass on the surface and likely to help the bowlers.

Weather: The forecast remains clear for a full game.
