Arunachal Pradesh bagged three points on the basis of first innings lead against Mizoram after incessant rain washed out the final day’s play.
In Jorhat, Mizoram — which rode on a century by Akhil Rajput — required 166 runs to win the Ranji Trophy Plate Group match with eight wickets in hand, but the rain played spoilsport. While it was a heartbreak for Mizoram, Arunachal players were happy to have fetched the needed three points.
