Manchester United midfielder Casemiro received a second straight red card in the Premier League in the team’s meeting with Southampton on Sunday.
The suspension will earn the Brazilian a four-match ban in domestic competitions since this is his second red card of the season.
After his red card in the 34th minute, United held on for a goalless draw. The Red Devils now have 50 points from 26 matches and are third on the table.
This means Casemiro will miss United’s FA Cup quarterfinal against Fulham and the Premier League matches against Newcastle United (A), Brentford (H) and Everton (H).
