Team India to train in Chennai

Ten of the 34 players called on by coach Stephen Constantine for the training, played in the AFC U-23 championship qualifiers.

The Indian team will train in Chennai from August 11.

Team India will train in Chennai prior to the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 qualifiers, which is scheduled to start on September 5.

After back-to-back wins against Myanmar and the Kyrgyz Republic in the first two fixtures, India will fly to Macau for its third match in the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 Qualifiers Group A match.  

The team will assemble in Chennai on August 11.

Sarthak Golui, Davinder Singh, Nikhil Poojary, Anirudh Thapa and Manvir Singh, who performed well in the recently-concluded AFC U-23 championship qualifiers in Doha, will be part of the senior squad.
