After a close draw against defending champion Australia, host India would be hoping to get its finishing on target against England in its second Pool B match here on Saturday.

England was largely passive in its loss against Germany on Day One and Bobby Crutchley's side would be looking to up its game. Barring patches, England struggled in every department and India would be hoping to make the opposition errors count. India was fast and penetrative against Australia and continuing in the same vein against England would be important for a favourable result.

Coach Sjoerd Marijne had expressed satisfaction with the Indian team's discipline and the ability to stick to a plan and not indulge in show-boating. It made for slightly less attractive visuals but a more dominant performance. A repeat would make India firm favourite to win.
